FAQ

  • A raw diet for dogs, is a feeding regimen that consists of uncooked meats, bones, organs, and dog safe fruits and vegetables. It is based on providing canines with raw, unprocessed foods that closely resemble the natural diet of their wild ancestors.

  • More Than Just Meat, Our raw meals provide everything your dog needs for optimal health in a single, ready-to-serve meal.

Each portion is carefully formulated to deliver a perfect balance of high-quality proteins, nutrient-rich organ meats, fresh vegetables, and essential fats, ensuring a diet that supports strong muscles, healthy digestion, a shiny coat, and overall well-being.

Unlike plain meat, which lacks key nutrients, our meals are scientifically designed by pet nutrition specialists to meet all of your dog’s dietary requirements. With the right mix of proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals, our recipes provide complete and balanced nutrition, that fuels vitality, longevity, and a happy, healthy life.

  • Dogs typically consume 2-3% of their ideal adult body weight in raw food per day. This amount can be divided into one or two meals. Our pre-portioned servings make this feeding process simple, clean and convenient.

  • While every dog is different, we have found most dogs easily adapt to our raw diet. If you are worried about transitioning, we recommend fasting your dog from 12-24 hours before serving their first meal at room temperature. Feel free to reach out for any questions on our Contact Page.

  • Control their water intake for the first week!
As opposed to dry kibble that can keep your dog dehydrated, raw contains adequate levels of moisture. Your dog may be used to drinking more water to compensate for the lack of hydration in his previous diet, so changes in drinking habits can occur and are generally normal. If habits change beyond your level of comfort, please feel free to use our contact page.

  • Upon receiving our product, keep it frozen for optimal freshness. Each portion is individually sous-vide sealed, allowing for easy storage in any freezer. When ready to use, simply transfer the needed portions to the refrigerator to thaw.

As you serve thawed meals, continue transitioning more portions from the freezer to the fridge—ensuring your dog always has fresh, ready-to-serve meals. It’s that easy!

  • A thawed, vacuum sealed portion, is safe for 3 days. Beyond this time there are too many variables to safely recommend.

Since vacuum sealing removes most of the oxygen, it helps slow bacterial growth, but it does not stop spoilage entirely. Always check for off smells, discoloration, or slimy texture before using. If you don’t plan to use the meat within these time frames, freezing is the best option for long-term storage.

  • Frozen raw meat can turn a bit grey due to several reasons, most of which are harmless:

Oxidation: Even though freezing slows down oxidation, small amounts of oxygen can still react with the myoglobin in meat, causing it to lose its red or pink color and turn greyish.

Lack of Oxygen Exposure: Vacuum-sealed or tightly wrapped meat can sometimes turn grey because there's less oxygen to maintain its red color. This doesn’t mean the meat is bad; once exposed to air, it may regain its normal color.

Prolonged Freezing: Over time, natural pigments in the meat break down, leading to slight color changes.
